NIVEA LIP BUTTER: VANILLA & MACADAMIA AND RASPBERRY ROSÉ

I bought these two luscious lip butter from Nivea once I found out they were sold where I work. I saw them on a few blogs a few days earlier and instantly wanted them. They smell so good, especially the raspberry one. And they come in cute little round packages. Yum!

MAC CREMESHEEN LIPSTICK: PURE ZEN

Mac is a great makeup brand, we all know that. We all know the makeup costs more. When you're a struggling student you don't get much money left over to spend on makeup even though you really want to. But when summer arrives it's time to work and earn money, also celebrate my birthday, woohoo. I got my first ever Mac product for my birthday, a pretty pretty lipstick. It's a Cremesheen lipstick, which seems to be the range that people like the most from Mac's lipstick collection so it felt like a safe pick. I got it in the shade Pure Zen, after hearing ThePersianBabe talk about it on her YouTube-channel. It's a really pretty nude pink shade with a bit of a glossy finish - but it stills sticks to the lips for a long time and isn't that sticky. I love this lipstick, really much. Now I feel like I have to expand my Mac makeup. Their makeup have such good quality and loads of different shades which is fun. I will definitely have to buy more from Mac in the near future.

RIMMEL APOCALIPS LIP LACQUER: NUDE ECLIPSE

It's here, it's finally here. My order from was in the mailbox when I came home. I've been checking the mail early every day. That's what you do when you're waiting for a package to arrive - monitor the mailbox. This is one of the two lip products I ordered: The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer. I've read about it so much and I always thought it was so pretty. A few days ago I decided that I need to try this one out and I'm glad I did. Such a perfect, pretty nude color with a hint of pink/peachy undertones so that it doesn't look like concealer. This also fits my lips very well, lipsticks tend to enhance my flaky lips which does not look well. But the lip lacquer does not make my lips look more flaky - which is a big plus + It doesn't feel sticky and stays on the lips for a good while. I really like this and I'm thinking about trying "Luna" as well. Do you own any of Rimmel's lip lacquers?

THREE NEW LIPPIES

Last week I ordered two new lip products which I felt desperate to try. First was the Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Androgen, such a lovely color and I've seen people talk on and on about it on blogs. A tad bit pricy, but I wanted it so bad. Next was the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer in Nude Eclipse. Funny enough, at first I was certain I was going to order it in the color Luna but after seeing swatches of it I was afraid it was going to be to bold and coral-looking. Oh the importance of swatches, I wanted a cute peachy color that was kind of neutral. But I ended up getting Nude Eclipse and I'm happyyy about that. Last is the Mac Creme Sheen lipstick in Pure Zen. I've felt like trying Mac lipstick more and more lately and it was time. My birthday was coming up, perfectly enough, so I decided to wish for Pure Zen after hearing ThePersianBabe talk about it on her YouTube-channel. You will all be hearing about these three lippies in reviews soon. Keep a lookout on my blog!

MAX FACTOR LIP LINER PENCIL

Max Factor Lip Liner Pencil in Raspberry £5

I've just recently started using lip liners more often and found this one at home. It's a gorgeous raspberry (hence the name) colored lip liner that I actually really like. I don't usually go for darker lip colors but this goes well with my green eyes. It's easy to use and doesn't smudge, it's also great for keeping the lipstick from smudging around the lips which is one of the great purposes of a lip liner pencil. So it does the work it is supposed to. I line the lips with this and then fill my lips with a lipstick that is close to my lip color. The lipstick blends with the lip liner which gives a hint of raspberry shaded lips. It looks gorgeous. I only wish I dared to use darker lip colors in public.

E.L.F. LIPSTICK SWATCHES

A few weeks ago E.L.F. had free shipping for the weekend so I got all excited and wanted to try out some more lipsticks from the essential line. I already owned Sociable and Fearless and felt that these applied better then my mineral lipsticks from E.L.F. So I ordered three new ones. I love the new colors that I got and I was really excited to try Nostalgic and Captivating - they are my new favorites. The packaging of these lipsticks are really bad, I don't like the look of them at all. Somehow Captivating got pushed up and smooshed in the top which I wasn't too happy about. But you get what you pay for, the packaging may not be pretty but they are really cheap and the lipsticks are good. Though the lasting power of these lipsticks is so so.. Anyway I tried doing a lip swatch for you guys, I hope you enjoy it.

E.L.F. ESSENTIAL LIPSTICK

One of my two lipsticks from E.L.F.s Essential line. This is in Sociable and it is a bright colorful pink shade that I think is very fab. One thing I've noticed is that the essential lipsticks almost comes on better on my (dry) lips. The mineral lipsticks always enhances the dry flakes on my lips, that sometimes aren't even visible until i put the mineral lipsticks on. Like boom, flaky lips. That's why I am really wanting more shades in these lipsticks - nostalgic seems like a great nude shade. A big plus is that they are so cheap, but the negative part is the packaging. It's not very pretty. Note: I have no makeup on on this picture, except for the lipstick of course.

E.L.F. MINERAL LIPSTICKS

I got these when I was first starting to get interested in trying lipsticks. Since I really hadn't tried lipsticks before I wasn't sure which shades where suitable for me - that's why I decided to order lipsticks from E.L.F. because they had a good variation of shades for a low price so I could try a few ones out. When I ordered though, I think they were half the price. These lipsticks are creamy but they still stay on the lips for a couple of hours and the come in a range of 18 colors.

On to the shades - the first mineral lipstick I got is in the shade Rosy Raisin which is a lovely red color, very warm toned with a little slight of shimmer in it. This shade suit my original color quite well, although that wasn't what I was going for. But it has grown on me and now I like the shade, it evens out my lip color and gives it a slight hint of more red toned lips.

The second shade is Natural Nymph which is a nude color that I actually like very much. My love for nude lipsticks only grows each day. I was afraid it would look straight up concealer-looking, but it didn't. It has a discreet pinkish undertone to it and when I use it I usually just dab it on to just brighten up the lips. I also like using it when I'm going out and I wear heavier eye makeup. It gives a great look. The one negative thing I find about these lipsticks is that they're hard to get an even color with on the lips. This may just be on my dry lips, though.
